Our Objectives and Missions as a Las Vegas Dressage Club
- To foster an interest among local horsemen and horsewomen in dressage
- To promote a better understanding of dressage
- To provide programming that is educational and designed to offer a framework in which individuals can progress with the schooling and showing of their horses
- To provide a welcoming community for dressage enthusiasts in the Las Vegas area
Dressage (French for training or schooling), as an equitation term, means the gradual harmonious development of the horse’s physical and mental condition with the aim to achieve the improvement of its natural gaits and a perfect understanding with its rider.

The Las Vegas dressage membership consists of both riders and non-riders, individuals who are new to dressage and experienced riders who show at FEI-level competitions. We welcome both expert and beginner alike. Throughout the year the LVCCDS supports a variety of activities for the dressage enthusiast, from schooling shows and rated dressage competitions to clinics for both riders and auditors. We also hold regular membership meetings combined with non-mounted social and educational activities.
