Qualified Riders
To be eligible to compete at the DASC Championship show - a paid Horse/Rider combination is required to earn:
Three (3) qualifying scores.
From at least two (2) different judges.
Freestyle qualification requires just one score of 63% or better.
Year End Awards
Each year, DASC members earn special awards honoring their achievements. This is a listing of the annual DASC Year End Awards and the qualification criteria for each.
Awards:
Training Level through Fourth Level Champion / Reserve
Highest (second highest for reserve) median score (middle score) earned of a minimum of six scores during the year under a minimum of three different judges; paid rider, owner, horse DASC membership.
FEI Levels (Prix St. Georges - Grand Prix)Champion / Reserve
Highest (second highest for reserve) median score (middle score) earned of a minimum of three scores during the year under a minimum of two different judges; paid rider, owner, horse DASC membership.
Championship Show
A horse/rider combination must earn a minimum of three scores from two judges at any test in the level based on the following criteria. Also, rider must be a paid DASC member at the time the scores are earned.
Great prizes and sashes will be awarded to all Championship class winners--Training through Grand Prix, Freestyles--in addition to the highpoint trophies.
Awards:
Anne Safchik Trophy
Highest score earned in a championship class at the championship show.
Hallman Meadows of Moorpark Perpetual Trophy
Highest scoring training level test, any division, any open or championship class.
Kingdom Video Trophy
Highest scoring amateur in a FEI championship class.
Training Level through Grand Prix Champion/Reserve
Earn the highest score in the Championship class at the level.
